Popular Ghanaian dancehall act Samini has verbally dissed Psquare’s ‘Alingo’ single and dance step stating that it’s a rip off from the popular ‘Azonto’ dance. Samini means big business: he just released a remix of the twins’ chart topping single calling his version ‘Azonto’. Freestyling over a similar beat, Samini sings ‘the name sounds like azonto, the dance kind of look like azonto, so please tell me something I don’t know‘. ‘…no be lie, you know say these guys be my guys, but i know say garri no be rice, so please try show me what be right…’, Samini adds. The comparison between the Alingo and Azonto dance has been there ever since Peter and Paul Okoye released the song but the single kind of grew naturally to be one of the biggest hits of 2012.
